356 miles - no CEL light nor does it show anything amiss on the scanner - it was the exhaust o-ring between the front cat and straight pipe fwiw Best of luck with the P0420 codes, may you all have it be just an exhaust leak !

I re-posted mine in the classified section after replacing the front brakes/WB's, windshield(bought it with cracked glass) and replacing the a/f sensor after the CEL light came on, if anyone knows someone like O looking for a ready to roll 4runner lmk,but mine is not limited nor is it rear...

hey PHD, I have a good front bumper but the chrome has some rust forming... how much to have you take the chrome strip off and send it on it's way ? Unless it is cost/time prohibitive .. thx:beer:

is gasoline a standard commodity or is there a winter blend? I saw talk of ethanol 15 but the pumps still have the up to 10% labels. found this,says winter blend has 1.7 % less energy than summer blend...

17/21 is decent mpg I had a volvo 940 wagon with a 4cyl that got the same mpg fwiw safe or full size vehicles will always be gas pigs the 87' jetta 1.8l which weighed in @ 2700lbs ? with zero safety features other than seat belts and brakes (power steering) got 27/32 - but that was a light...

THX buddy ! the g/f house has along steep drive way - I park on the street when I am not spending the night and switch my parking front or back in 1st - I will back it in / up from now on unless I hear of 3.4 being much diff than 22re

I feel I could go faster safer in my last cherokee or K1500 on a snowy highway - this feels a bit top heavy even with nice new firestones - I attribute that to it's off roading ability which prizes ground clearance over COG ..?

I read the 3.4 is internally balanced - no harmonic balancer to go out of whack like on a Jeep

oops! oil sump question .. was curious if the driveway has an incline and there is option of parking nose up the driveway or backing up/reverse upthe drive and leave it overnight nose down the driveway, is there an oil draw benefit one way or the other.. I saw something online about toyos...

what about the charcoal canister ? isn't there a valve associated with that that ticks also ?

which way are these 3.4's better to park on an incline, backed in or regular front first up hill?
