Fourwheeler expo in costa mesa was cool!

Guess I'll try to catch the event next year (March 7, 8 2021). Sounds like a good time. Thanks for posting about it.

What are people doing to cover the rear mud flap hole

For those who trimmed their mud flaps, what tools did you use?

    2020 Nightshade Mods?

If you are going to keep the stock wheels, add spacers to move them outboard a bit.

New headlights on the market..... look cool, FYI

I believe irreplaceable/non-serviceable lighting elements are common with OEM products, as well. Looking at the Toyota 4Runner/Tundra fog lights, for instance, I highly doubt the LED module can be replaced. LED chips themselves are not as prone to fail in a circuit compared to the other...

Electrical system shut down while driving

During the shut down, did you notice any change in the engine operation? Wondering if the interruption in power is affecting the entire vehicle, including injectors/ignition coils/sensors or isolated to what you can see, that being your dash display.

TIL my 3rd brake light flashes and other fun facts

Aargh! I notice a lot of new model Hyundai's with this feature in my area. Was once behind a group of four ricey sport compacts, diving like fools. They all had the blink-blink-blink-blink lights. So annoying! Good thing I am not sensitive to strobe lights.

    6th gen 4Runner question

In case you missed it, there is an entire "6th gen T4Rs" sub forum where you can read all variety of speculations, hearsay, crystal ball readings, etc. https://www.toyota-4runner.org/6th-gen-t4rs/ Most of the threads actually relate to the 5th gen, as the description is miss-noted for the 2019...

    Need New Shocks!

There is also the Bilstein B6 4600 series as an option. I have never seen anyone mention them on this forum but I replaced the OEM dampers on an '08 Sequoia and loved how they rode. For that strictly highway vehicle, I felt 5100s were overkill. With the 4600s, the ride was slightly stiffer...

    2020 Runner Review

How I wish a moderator would do that! We have been asking for this forum description to be changed since it was made, almost a year ago. All requests have fallen on deaf ears, apparently. There is no 2020 4Runner, nor a 2018 4Runner listed in the forums. It's pretty messed up.

    Any 2015-2018 4Runner issues? POLL

At 37,000 miles, really only one mechanical issue. The second row seat back release cable disengaged from the bracket. The fix was simple by crimping the cable bracket tighter with some high-leverage pliers.

P2441, Secondary Air Injection System Switch Valve Stuck Closed (Bank 1)

The Air Injection System was so much of an issue on the 2007-2010 Tundra and 2008-2010 Sequoia models, Toyota extended the warranty on related parts. How many miles are on your T4R?

2018 SR5 - Random beep when put in reverse

Also check to make sure the back hatch. My hatch was closed but not latched once and a beep briefly sounded backing out of the driveway.

    Gecko's 2019 Limited 4x4 Black/Redwood Thread (All Dynos In)

If the run files were saved, perhaps the shop can easily edit them. Many years ago, the first run I did on a car lacked correction. When I realized it, I went back and was able to get a new print out. Was bummed though, that the baseline numbers were lower with SAE applied. Ha ha.
