    Courtesy and Decent Manners

I'm not familiar with your destination so this may not help you. There has been some confusion on the new rules but they only apply to air travel. You can still drive across the border without a passport.

Decisions: Tundra vs. 4Runner...anyone else had to choose???

...or get a truck that's so rough they can't hurt it. Whenever I drive Grumpy Green to the mall I noticed people would keep circling rather than park next to me :biggrin2:

Decisions: Tundra vs. 4Runner...anyone else had to choose???

I have the best of both worlds, a T4R and an '85 F150 :D My kids call the Ford "Grumpy Green". It was my Grandfather's truck before it spent 10 yrs rotting in my Dad's barn. He was going to junk it but I talked him into giving it to me. I spent about $800 getting it drivable again and now...

    V6 vs V8... who's faster/quicker ?

I test drove both the V6 and V8 when I was shopping for my '06. In a combination of city and highway driving I couldn't tell much difference in acceleration but the V8 sounded better. I went with the V6 because it seemed to handle so much better in 2WD. With a Sport model the handling...

    Fog lights, on or off

"I leave mine off simply because it's illegal in Oklahoma to drive with your fog lights on when it's not foggy." ...another good reason to live south of the Red River! :p

Anyone Plan on keeping Their Toyota beyond Ten Years Read here

I agree that someone will fill the void for our 4Runner parts. I have no problem buying maintenance parts for the fore mentioned '85 Ford F150 but Ford stopped making model specific parts for it along time ago. There are scores of aftermarket sources and here in Texas the salvage yards are...

Anyone Plan on keeping Their Toyota beyond Ten Years Read here

It does for me. I have a 23 yr old F150 and I bet my wife a $100 that the 4runner would last 20 yrs. I tend to drive my cars/trucks until the wheels fall off. Luckily my last 4 vehicels were GM products so I got to trade every 5 yrs :p

    2003 Russian T4R pics

On a side note: My understanding is that the Pinto is the cause of the sue crazy system we now live in. Because Ford had figured that it was cheaper to pay lawsuits than it was to pay for the recall, the Supreme Court removed the cap on pain and suffering.

    It's Friday again...

Everyone knows that everything is bigger in Texas so there is no need for debate. Heck my waist band expanded 2 sizes when I moved here. Of course it could be all the Shiner Bock.
