    Played in the very little remaining snow on dirt roads for a couple of hours on our way to watch totality. Spectacular day.

    Got sliders put back on and the mix and match skid plates on yesterday. Today we go explore for eclipse locations for viewing the eclipse.

    It sounds like the transfer got kicked to neutral somehow which would prevent the trans from going into anything but P and N, right?

    Got it on a lift today for help with oem locker actuator which we got sorted and now works great. Pulled sliders off while on lift and got those and new rear recov points to a friend for powder coat. Prepping for fluid film underneath.

    I like the lighter weight for sure, but being in northeast, this place is a salt lick 3+ months of the year, so we also are constantly fighting Fe2O3 on this thing. We don't get to play offroad as often as most so I honestly don't feel as though longevity will be an issue the more I ponder...

    At 25k miles per year saving .5 mpg @$3.50/gal is $175. Not saying that makes a point one way or the other but it's more than $30 and for me makes it worth the discussion and thought.
