I was reading on some other threads that the VVTI one's are harder to swap, and the non-VVTI you don't have to remove the camshaft? Is that what you're referencing? I have the non-VVTI variant

I've heard they're easier to replace on the non-VVTI, I can't find any guides for doing them. Did you have a guide to do it?

Do you have any instructions on doing these? I'm trying to find some. I plan on was recommended to do them when i replace my timing belt here soon.

Oil Pan I was thinking of running seafoam for like 20 minutes in my '04 V8 because i just got it at 130k miles and want to clean it out. I wanted to pull the oil pan off afterwards and clean it out if there are any thick buildups or solids. Does this sound like a good plan? The real trouble is...

Do you think this is something that could be further prevented by using maybe half the recommended amount, running for 30ish minutes and then pulling the bottom of your crank case off and cleaning it out well? Getting any solids out that have broken off or built up?
