I have a 2004 T4R V8. I have been having a random coolant leak that would leave a puddle of coolant near the rear of the motor where it meets the transmission and looks like its dripping right from that spot as well, its not dripping from the front of the motor and running down the skid plates...

I just don't understand why it will leak after the runner has been sitting for a long time? It doesn't leak when it's not running or after it starts. Seems to be only as the engine primes to start or starts and it leaks quite a bit, then no signs of it afterwards? Any other thoughts or ideas...

Thanks for the response! I'm hoping that is the case and it just needs to happen a couple times, but still not sure if seeing the puddle on the ground every so often makes a difference.

Awesome thank you everyone for your help! So it sounds like its the drivers side but if when I turn right its most likely the passenger side, is there anyway to actually know or will I be able to tell if its bad before I start on one side and it ends up being another one?

Yeah, if I swerve to the right the sound goes away. It sounds like its on the drivers side front wheel. Are there any special tools needed to do it? If it just bolts on, I'm assuming not, but thought i'd ask. Thanks for everyones thoughts
