    "affordable" brake booster option?

Thanks for the tip but I didn't see any for 4Runners there. They don't mention the brand either. Maybe I'm overthinking this but there have been a lot of threads mentioning aftermarket boosters not lasting long or performing very well which is why I was leaning used OEM or new Seiken which I...

    "affordable" brake booster option?

I am a little concerned with this option as the part will be as old as the one I'm replacing. I can get a used one for $100 and the Seiken is $630 plus tax right now (partsgeek is the best price I can find) so the used option is tempting.

    "affordable" brake booster option?

Thanks to you both. I wonder why the AZ thing is an issue, just hot and dry causes cracking/leaking? I am leaning Seiken even though it's still $$$. I am a little concerned I may also need to replace the master cylinder in case there is a small leak that led to my original failing. I guess I...

    "affordable" brake booster option?

I think my brake booster on my 2000 4Runner is going out. I'm getting a hard pedal after startup, at low idles in parking lots, and pretty soon after I turn the vehicle off. I found some threads where people mentioned to check the vacuum line, check valve, and grommet for the valve. I've done...

    Fs: Sold

Thanks, that's less than I was expecting. I'm still up in the air about a short vs full-length rack. GLWS

How heavy is this rack roughly? I am starting to think about getting a rack but not sure I need a full-roof version like this

Good deal on these! Wish I was in CA to take advantage. Bit of a drive from southern AZ. GLWS

Trail wheels on 3rd gen. Thoughts and opinions.

I am about to purchase some of the 5th gen TRD wheels which look just like the trail wheels with the recessed areas painted black. Any idea if my stock lugnuts from my 2000 4Runner will work with these or will I also need to purchase new lugnuts? Thanks

WTS Toyota 4Runner Trail Wheels AZ

Thanks, I'm researching options and trying to decide to look for a set of wheels with tires or just a set of wheels and buy my own tires. I may hit you up to come have a look sometime soon thanks.

Trail wheels on 3rd gen. Thoughts and opinions.

Thanks! I was looking at these wheels as an option, I think they may be 5th gen (up to 2017 4Runner models correct?). I feel like some people have said these wheels have a different backspacing though. I'd hate to buy a set, mount them up, and then realize I made a mistake.

Trail wheels on 3rd gen. Thoughts and opinions.

Thanks, I'd like to avoid that. I only plan on running something like a 265/70/17 but I don't want the possibility of rubbing or a tucked in the wheel well look. I need to figure out which models and years have 17" wheels with the same backspacing as my stock 2000 4Runner wheels. It sounds like...

Trail wheels on 3rd gen. Thoughts and opinions.

Sweet! There's a number of these wheels on CL in AZ right now, some with tires and some without. Are you putting these on a 3rd gen? Do you know if they require spacers? I can't find a definitive answer.

WTS Toyota 4Runner Trail Wheels AZ

I think I saw these on Craigslist! I'm in Tucson as well. Do you know if these wheels require spacers to run on a 3rd gen 4Runner? I am interested in going up to a 17" wheel to open up tire options.

looking for a smoother ride, new tire options

Sorry, what are SCS and FN? I have been looking at Toyota wheels only but I'm not sure which models have the same backspacing etc. I like the newer 4Runner wheels but I think many people have to use spacers which I'd like to avoid. That may only be an issue for people running much larger tires...

Trail wheels on 3rd gen. Thoughts and opinions.

I’d like to know the answer to this too. I’m thinking of picking up some of these wheels to open up some tire options on my 2000 4Runner. I have an older version of the SS 1 lift (I think that’s the one) and currently run 265/75/16. I’d be looking at roughly the same overall wheel size in a 17...
