The biggest advantage of the SC is the simplicity of installation. The amount of hp gained for an hr of work is hard to beat.

Leather was a dealer option. I've seen way more SR5's with leather and without heated seats as opposed to with. I'm pretty sure that the Limited's were the only model that came standard with both leather and heated seats.

Not a fan of the interior or the striping, but other than that I dig it.

Count me in on the obsessive side of clean. Just feel the better you take care of things, the longer they last. And obviously that goes well beyond my 4Runner. If I hit some dirt/mud, I'll sometimes hold off for a few days before I clean it. But I always make sure to clean it pretty quick.

Honestly, it doesn't really make a difference to me. I've pretty much stopped coming here because of that issue.

Have you done or tried Highbrow? That's a great climb and the height is right at the point of being high, but not too high.

From my understanding, there was no one set spot where they were located. It was never a factory option, but a dealer-installed one. So, I think they gave you some stickers with it and let you put them wherever you wanted to.
