I had the same problem as well. But I bought a rebuild kit off ebay for 15 bucks shipped. Did the work myself. Will take no more than 2 hours for a average mechanic. Goodluck!

No harm taken. I've owned 5 VW's in my lifetime, and I must say, the maintenance and parts on these are alot cheaper and easier. Hopefully mines would last me awhile. Thank goodness this is not like vwvortex. Thanks for the replies guys.
