Good morning fellas, I’m about to pull the trigger on a CBI rear bumper. But I’m having a tough time deciding if I want to go with a single or dual swing out. Was wondering if anyone near me has either that I could check out. I’m in Corvallis. Any input is greatly appreciated as well. Thanks!

OEM all the way. I’m at 240k miles and no problems. I can see the bushings are getting warn but can’t tell by driving it. Only changing out since I’m upgrading the suspension and am going to have it all apart anyway. $600 seems like a lot until you see the cheap crap failing on here all the time.

I have that same color. Love it. Idk about scratches... but I had some body work done and it’s pretty easy to see where the new meets the old. But I haven’t got the buffer out yet either. And then again, I don’t think anyone else really notices.

You guys were right about getting too far ahead of maintenance lol. I changed out water pump, thermostat, v belt, tensioner, all idler wheels, radiator hoses, and fan clutch. Worst thing I found was idler bearing a little noisy. I did figure out a little trick for radiator flush though...

I’ve always just added a drop of clean motor oil to the threads. I’ve been changing my own plugs since I was a kid and never had one get stuck or come loose. Anti seize doesn’t sound like a good idea to me.

What is the expected average life of the MRA’s before a rebuild is required? (I know this is rather subjective, just a ballpark...) Is this something that we can do ourselves? How much is the kit? If we need to send them in... where to and what is the turn around? And what is the coupon code...

Here is a link to my 2 cents when I did my flush. Worked like a charm filling from above. Used a plastic fitting... 3/8” MPT x 1/2” barbed hose. Teflon tape and a funnel. Easily added fluid through engine compartment. Transmission pan vs stump
