Toyota calls them struts, but they look just like shocks to me. I'll look at Monroe shocks, too.

I would like to switch off the automatic door locks. They lock the doors when I take it out of Park. The manual says to put the ignition switch into "on" then hold the lock button for 5 seconds. This does nothing. Can anyone help?

I just got a new to me 2007 T4R with 66,000 miles to go along with my Taco. Toyota went through the thing and said I need new struts, so I got a deduction on the price and got to get those fixed. I have heard that leaking struts are common with 4Runners. Is that true?
