BigBlue, Did you paint our valance and mid bar or coat it? I'm looking to do something similar and concerned the paint will chip and reveal the original silver.

Thank you for the response. It's always my luck that what I really like comes on different models. I really prefer the solid color theme. I'll end up painting them red to match or black to contrast.
Questions about your front valance: Did you remove it to paint to match? If so, how is it connected? Did you paint it yourself or have a body shop paint it?
