damage
Erin, I'll keep that in mind, Boch gave the best deal around without question on the 4Runner and our trade. The sales manager I dealt with said he had no idea about what had happened and said he would take care of it and look into the problem. The problem they have there is that they...
damage
I can beat that one! We bought a new 05 4Runner Limited last August from a large Toyota dealer in our area, Boch Toyota. We took delivery in the parking lot with our registration plates already attached. I did a final inspection before leaving and what did I see but a nice big gouge...
base
I would have to say if it's leaning at all go with the current seat, you still have time and a latch style seat isn't all that much money considering. I wouldn't fool around with the safety of a newborn if it's leaning it just isn't worth it, buy a new seat.
base
The Graco base should have it's own straps that hook onto 2 concealed fastening points tucked inside the lower seat cushions on driver/pass side. You shouldn't have to use the seatbelt on an 05 4runner, just the included straps and you want them as tight as you can pull them. You also...
rims
Thanks for the compliments, they worked out well, I had been wanting these rims for quite some time. I plan on painting the dust caps silver to match the rims when I have the time, I just wanted to get them on the truck. If the hole was enlarged I'm sure it work with manual hubs as well.
pics
Here is a pic of the center cap on rim. Not centered perfectly, I'm going to pick a couple up and do it perfect less the beer. The sad thing is the dust cap only sticks out about a 1/4" beyond the center cap, talk about close. I'll clean the dust caps up and paint them silver to match.
center caps
Here is a closeup of the rim with center cap cut out in the center. It didn't come out perfectly centered (Coors Light induced) so I'll probably pic up a couple and redo them perfect now that I know it'll work. I might go an 1/8" smaller on the hole saw as well for a tighter fit.
Center Caps
I have the 4Runner 5 stars with the same problem on a 94 SR5 4x4. A few beers in me and I got brave. Out came the hole saw. I drilled out the center on the center cap with a hole saw just big enough for the cap of the ADD hub to fit through and it worked perfect. A few beers...
Center Caps
Skywalker you are correct on the rims. A few beers in me and I got brave. Out came the hole saw. I drilled out the center on the center cap with a hole saw just big enough for the cap of the ADD hub to fit through and it worked perfect. A few beers less and the hole would have...
fixed it!!
A few beers in me and I got brave. Out came the hole saw. I drilled out the center on the center cap with a hole saw just big enough for the cap of the ADD hub to fit through and it worked perfect. A few beers less and the hole would have been more on center, but it worked like a...
Center Caps
Hey Brian,
I put the wheels on when I got home and the back center caps fit fine, but the fronts aren't deep enough for the ADD hubs, they won't fit. I've been doing a little research to find a solution, no luck so far. Just my luck, lol. Any thoughts?
