Just so I am clear, you bought an OEM FJ shift knob and just took off the bottom piece to get it to fit your new TRD pro? Looks awesome in this pic because it matches the transfer case knob. I have a new 2018 4runner TRD pro and want this exact setup but am not sure where to buy the knob.

Yes - I would think a fairly bare bones 2018 TRD Pro model at 1000 less than MSRP would be something I wouldn't lose a lot of money on down the road and may not notice a huge difference between in and the 2019.

Is the 2019 worth the extra cash for a non-serious offroader? If money and time were no object, I would love a 2019. I know the Fox shocks are amazing. However, I do have a bit of a budget and dont want to wait forever for 2019's to hit the lot. If I got a great deal on a new 2018, would it...
