I had my gen 1 RHD Surf registered no problem, it doesnt have a 17 digit VIN or anything. My importer handled the actual registration to be fair though.
Interior is in great shape and so far I love this vehicle. Only thing that I plan on fixing in the short term is the thermostat works about 80% of the time. Sometimes while driving it will bottom out like the power it off. It never says it's overheating but I know these engines are sensitive...
I just bought this vehicle 3 days ago lol. It is in great shape with a small oil leak, although I would expect an oil leak on any 30 year old diesel engine.
