Well I was under mine today and a I have a couple holes in the frame already. I think im going to start looking at 5th gens. I love my 4th gen but I really cant deal with the rust. :(

Got the tent yesterday and installed in last night. ended up making my own cross bars and attached them with u-bolts. Then attached the tent. Cant wait to use this thing. The tent is huge. So far 1000% happy with it

I think I might just go the DIY route with cross bars. Some u-bolts and box steel would be a heck of a lot cheaper then some of this stuff Im looking at

So I bit and ordered a roof top tent for the 4runner. I got the smittybilt overlander xl. Was thinking of getting new cross bars to mount it to but also have the thought of just replacing the roof rack. Guys with tents what do you recommend? Just get cross bars or whole new rack?

It comes with a long nozzle that you put in the drain holes for the frame. Tape off all the other holes and spray. Just make sure no dirt or loose rust is in the frame before you start. Clean it out well

Figured id give this a shot before ordering one. Looking for a Gobi ladder for a spoiler with rise located in NY.

2008 sport v8 with 158k hard to find one with out rust on long island. This one has some problem spots but they are easy to get to with a welder. Paid $5800.
