Regear was not necessary for 34s and V8. 2 inch lift will likely not be enough for 34s'. I had to do a BMC, front bumper, and was running a BL.

I just had the same thing happen. I had the TC cam tabs welded on...i would suggest using this time to just upgrade and be done with it. The oem tabs will just keep bending, throwing off your alignment when wheeling.

Skid plates > bumpers. The only modifications I deem necessary for offroading are good tires, sliders, and a set of skid plates. The rest is mostly for show. I'd go RCI aluminum.

I have the Sherpa, I would not call it 'rock solid'. Given the construction, it's made of thin aluminum strips of material bolted together by tons of small screws. When I use the rack handles, I feel the rack move. Versus my old Whitston Rack, I would call the Sherpa less 'solid' than a fully...

I doubt that. I'm 5 11' and am constantly hitting my head on the A piller when offroading. The roofline on the 4th gens are so low.

Funny how Alpine Loop in the San Juans is open, yet we can't get our local FS to unlock the gates on our trails.
