If you have your mind set on getting a 4runner, I have read that some on here have negotiated prices online and then flown to buy it. Then drive it home. It is an option most people won't do (myself included) though but these are different times.

Always amazes me the creativity and ingenuity of DIYers. Oftentimes it is better than store bought. In your case, much better than store bought.
