Eibach pro truck or Bilstein 5100 for SR5 for road use and stock height

I've tried to look at around at different posts, and from what I've read, it sounds like the Bilstein 4600s plus a stiffer rear sway bar will solve the issue I'm trying to fix. 5100s are apparently stiffer and only needed for a lift.

Eibach pro truck or Bilstein 5100 for SR5 for road use and stock height

I searched other threads and it's hard to find discussion that doesn't involve a lift. My wife has a 23 SR5 premium we bought new. Has about 30K on it. While she is super happy with it I wanted to improve the handling. I know it's a 4runner, but I've had a leaf spring Jeep and trucks in the...

Does this look normal or is something missing?

This is a 23 SR-5. We bought it new and dealer did the 1st 2 oil changes. I was taking a look getting ready to do the next one myself. It looks like a bracket or something is missing. See the 2 tabs that stick out towards the back of the vehicle under the front driveshaft. If something isn’t...

Urethane Sway Bar Bushings - 5th Gen

Interested too. Wife got a 24 SR5P in January. Would like to reduce some of the sway. Where we live is roundabouts everywhere. Would be nice if it stayed a bit flatter.

Buying advice - new/slightly used, limited or SR5 premium

Just wanted to report back since I started this thread that we ended up buying a new 23 SR5 premium at about $3,200 off sticker. Will take delivery tomorrow. I think this is exactly what my wife wanted (specifically color and features) so she's excited. Now I'll have to start figuring out...

How much are people paying for the NEW 4Runner?

I got a quote today on a 23 SR5 premium at $3K off list price. Wondering how much room they might have considering it's a 23 and I now see mostly 24's out there.

Buying advice - new/slightly used, limited or SR5 premium

That's a good point. Although we'll probably keep it long enough it won't be too much of a factor. I think we're either going to get a new white SR5 premium with 3rd seat or a used (2020 or 2021 or 2022) white limited with 3rd seat. White, 3rd row seat and sun roof seem to be the...

Buying advice - new/slightly used, limited or SR5 premium

Yeah I see the 3rd row seat is for short trips only. I was pushing for a honda pilot for family use but she wants a 4 runner. We'll be keeping the minivan around. We have a 15 year old and 2 12 year olds, so I think as long as the van holds up a few more years with limited use we'll be ok. I...

Just moved this to the correct forum. Think I did that right at least.

Buying advice - new/slightly used, limited or SR5 premium

Thanks for input. We finally went to a dealership together today. They still had that certified 2020 Limited. It's been there awhile. We drove that, and also drove a new SR5 premium. I've also done some looking around online and have seen some dealers with some decent discounts. It was good...

    2007 Honda Accord 3.0L V6

Yeah I'm looking forward to it. I've driven it a bit. It's nice with the V6. I found a board in the garage to prop up the hood. Works nicely :)

Buying advice - new/slightly used, limited or SR5 premium

Hello, I'm new here and in the market for a 4Runner. My wife will be driving it primarily. She's wanted one for years, at least since us having twins (for a total of 3 kids) caused us to get a minivan and sell her beloved Commander. She wanted a 4 Runner back then too but the fire sale on...

    2007 Honda Accord 3.0L V6

I recently was given an 03 Accord V6 with about 70K on it from a grandparent. I have a 15 year old. It will be his car. I've been dragging my feet on it but it needs some catch up on maintenance. I started with a drain and fill on the trans fluid. Did that twice and will do it once more. And...
