I just did this swap over the weekend. Rather than drilling the new holes, I suggest using a punch to knock a small hole first so you don't bugger the threads underneath. Did you get the aftermarket upper control arms that Toytec recommends? If not, did you have any issues with getting it aligned?

My '08 had a great feature where the engine would start with just a quick twist of the key. No need to hold it until the engine actually started. My '15 doesn't do this. Is this a feature that can be 'enabled' or was it not carried over to the 5th Gen?

I did the full Old Man Emu kit (shocks and springs for 2.5" of lift) for $1,400 installed including alignment. Very trail capable and well behaved in day to day driving. I don't think you'll be disappointed.
