Over the weekend I replaced my Shift solenoids and lock up solenoid and cleaned up the transmission. It rides like a new car, and then to round everything out installed an 18" magnaflow muffler.

Mine did the exact same thing at 196K. It was the valve cover gaskets, it took an afternoon but wasn't a bad fix at all.
