    Which Toytec coilover is this?

Howdy guys and gals, so the time has come to rebuild or replace the coilovers on my folks 97 . They bought the 4Runner in 2015 and it already had a almost new Toytec lift kit installed. I think it's the older boss kit but I'm not sure. The shock body measures 2.10 inches. The code on the spring...

    Towing | Re-Gear Needed. Thoughts?

Seeing you listed a transmission cooler I am assuming a auto transmission, but a e-locker with 4:10 gears makes me ask , manual or auto ?

Lets see some offroad lights on Arb bumpers

They are the 9 " . Still going strong except I changed the bulbs for Osram 55 watt night breakers. They are brighter and whiter than the original hella 100 watt bulbs. Also street legal. Not that anyone cares here in the mountains.

What Did You Do To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Broke a cv on the way to the job site Friday. Brought a few extra tools on Monday and decided to use my $30,000 Jack to make things easy. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

    255 85 r16 q&a

    I wouldn't try 255s on 9" wheels. I have the maxxs 255s on 8" wheels and I think that's about the max . 255/85R16s look better on a 7 " wheel.

    ARB bumper vs. sliders?

Keep the ARB ! A Arb without a winch ( doesn't sound like you need one yet . ) is a small weight gain over stock . It's only about 90 pounds and the stock fat lip bumper is supposed to be around 35 lbs, so a extra 55 lbs . Sliders are only a benefit offroad ,well ok , a wide kickout might stop a...

    TW Dirt Lord new tread

That tire needs a shave . Last winter I needed tires for my plow truck and was considering tredwright but after shipping I was able to get BFG KO2s cheaper . If tredwright brought their price down I would consider...

    Dead horse beating time

It's not a real popular opinion around here but I don't think there's anything wrong our original brake calipers and rotors . I bought my 4Runner in 2013 and have put about 40,000 miles on it and have not had to touch the brakes yet . The PO gave me a handwritten log book that noted adjusting...

Do you think they lived on a gravel road?

I don't think that amount of accumulation came from driving on dirt roads . I live on dirt roads and the only time I've seen something like that was when a flash flood hit my in-laws place and totaled their vehicles and didn't do my 59 Apache any favors .
