good to know, both tensioners nylon was cracked or non-existent, and one had chain clearly running over bare metal. either way all parts replaced and back together yesterday, running perfectly.

Didn't' do a ton of stuff while we were there but Check out White sands at dusk. Also head up the mountain to Cloudcroft! lots of hiking there and forest service roads in the area. I would just explore Google maps a bit. also there were some nice areas near Ruidoso.

What are you upgrading to?

I did consider toyota parts at the start. but as stated I figured I could tackle this at home. with 150k miles I figured it would be a good move to just do the ball joints also. Moog is greasable and I like the idea of being able to grease the joint.

I spent $93 for initial parts. (Febest, Toyota, MOOG) Moog aftermarket arm was $113 plus shipping, Toyota arm is $360 at the dealer, $260 +$15 shipping from Toyota online retailer. so had initial attempt worked I would have saved $300 total.

So I will start this out by saying I was attempting to change out a LCA front bushing that was needing to be replaced. I was getting a knock with hard braking and changing from reverse to drive or vise versa. Found the issue was a bad front bushing on the LCA. Not a afraid to tackle items like...

What side of town are you on? Brake check will do a free diagnostic, although i'm not sure i would trust them to do the work.. there are several off road shops in town too that are reputable.

I agree with the liability issue. Stopping the weight behind you will be the biggest factor. Also there is no aftermarket support for a larger weight distributing receiver hitch. It is possible that the Lexus GX460 weight distributing receiver hitch may work as an option for something to...
