Update.. Replaced the drivers door switch and it did not fix the issue. I’m not sure what else would cause the 3 passenger door locks to work intermittently. They will work once or twice, then only make the noise like they’re lock/unlocking but do not move. The lock tabs just barely twitch...

If you are 100% positive you installed the seal properly without damaging it the next step would be to check the diff housing vent. If it’s clogged it will cause pressure to build, and that’s probably the biggest culprit for causing axle seal leaks on 3rd Gens.

Update… Kinda… Did some sleuthing through forums and some folks say the center plug contains wiring for the immobilizer but also the fly by wire throttle control. Which would be found on the 01-02 4Runner and 03-04 Tacoma. If that’s true my Tacoma ECU should have the center plug regardless...

I’ll try to check it out tonight and post my findings. I’ve left the dash pulled apart so it shouldn’t take long. I’m off work Thurs and Fri and should have a little free time to tinker with it.
