Yes, I definitely put the shoes on the the correct sides. Everything with my e-brake cables seem fine. I'm so confused by how this happened, I guess I am gonna have to wrestle off that drum again to find out.

The knock sensor being out absolutely DOES make your rig run like shit. It makes your car run sluggish and slow not to mention burns through your gas way faster. I makes it feel as if your car is missing a lot of power.
