So I figured out that it's hard as hell to get the channel and rubber on the glass. I've soaped it. Stretched the metal. Beat it with a hammer. Ideas?

So what I have figured out is that it is Damn tight and I can't get it seated either. Also, If you took the glass out how would you get it back in with the channels in place? I tried bending the channel so I could fit it on the rubber while the rubber was on the glass but still couldn't...

Well I oredered the rubber but apparently the metal channels are separate and I'll get them monday. I'll let you know what I figure out. Thanks for the info.

I have this exact same problem. Glad I found this blog. Thanks for sharing. Curious if the glass is only attached by the rubber groove on the channel or do I need something else to hold it in place?
