The nitto's tread wear seems to have a lot to do with whether or not they are LT or P rated. Unfortunately if you get the 265/70/17 you have to get their P rated tire. My experience with these was great performance but very fast treadwear. More than 50% already gone after less than a year and...

The "p" rated Terra Grappler has not done very well for me as far as tread life. It looks to be less than a 30K mile tire at best. Other than that, it has been good.

Another option would be a magnetic mount. A Wilson 1000 or 5000 mag. mount is a good choice and gets great reception. It can be unsrewed at the base when you need to garage the truck. Just keep a good coat of wax on the paint where the antenna is and be careful when removing it to prevent...

Ok, I am curious to know if my VCS is even working? I have done the pedal to the floor with the wheel cranked and all I get is a bunch of brake action. I never lose power but I can feel and hear the brakes kicking in to stop wheel spin. I drive a v8.

It depends on the load and what I am doing. I use it on big trips where I have a lot of gear. It allows me to access things underneath it that I would otherwise have to unload to get to. I also use it with both seats folded down.....allowing another separation of the cargo area. All of this...

I took it easy on the gas pedal for a while and did not do any towing and I got a read out of 400. It seems like every week I would gain an extra five miles. Since the new tires and lift, I don't pay much attention anymore....

The v8 will have no problems with this! It will probably tow as good as your sierra but the transmission will last longer. I have towed a 19' bass boat and had no problems other than burning a lot of gas!

Which Flowmaster did you get? What about the famous 2000 RPM drone?

I turned the pipe out the side and had s.s. tip added for $25, it helps a little......mainly looks better without the big resonator under there. The TSB did help a little more but the stink is still there under heavy throttle.

Some other things to think about...... Do you plan to tow? The v8 will serve you better for heavier items. Any kind of lift in the future? I may be the exception to this Xreas thing but if I was buying a new one, I would save my money. Simply because it is an expensive item to replace and it...
