After changing CV axles and U joints on my 1995 4runner; I believe I have a bent or unbalanced driveshaft. Can someone recommend an ONLINE source for one either used or new? Open to suggestions but don't really wanna spend $400+

I have a 2000 that I just purchased. My 4wd indicator flashes randomly for no reason- got it at a great price because of it. One Mechanic thinks it needs a sensor replaced? I'm interested to see what the issue is and I'll update you if I figure it out sooner.

Thanks. I'm not confident doing swap either... so factor in labor and I'd be paying a lot! Plus it's a lot easier to go to a mechanic and ask them to repair a 3.4 then it would be to go to a mechanic and say you want a swap but with a different motor etc

I bought a super clean 95 with 185k miles. I vowed to get a 3.4L but somehow couldn't resist. Now I'm debating whether I should hold onto it until it breaks and do 3.4L swap (with a lot of help) or if it's better to sell this 95 and go searching again for a 3rd gen in the 7k range???

Has anyone made a comprehensive list of what is exactly needed for a 3.4L swap?

Looks sweet! I did the same thing and picked up a 95 for 2500. The interior is super clean. The body is super straight and it has new 31s. It has 185k miles... and there's a mid speed vibration I need to resolve before I can comfortably drive it. I've changed CVs and it didn't help. Going to...

Can anyone answer: I'm having vibration issues too and I'm thinking it's Drive shaft/ u joint related, but unsure. I changed front CVs thinking it could be the issue first. My question before replacing Ujoints.... what if I remove rear drive shaft and then drive it in 4WD high at about 40mph...
