That was me too when I traded in my 3rd Gen 2000 TR4, but the 4th Gen V8 makes the difference. It is smooth and powerful. I tested drove a 5th Gen which was very nice, but I still love the smoothness and power the V8 gives in the 2007.

I went to check out a 2012 4Runner with 12k, and they were asking 36k for it, and offered me 13K for my 2007 4Runner V8 with 102k. They went down to 33K on their's, and went to 15K on mine. I said, "I'm satisfied with my 4Runner, and drove off."

x2 on checking your gas cap. You may need to replace it.

Any word on 4runners being apart of the recent Toyota water pump recalls? :hungry:

I have one OEM Fog Light Housing and one OEM Parking light with bulb for 2000 T4R.

Have you check the gas cap? I had to replace mine.

Try changing your gas cap. I went to Autozone for a free autoscan. It detected the gas cap.
