Got an IS350 in July. Absolutely LOVE it. Had a BMW M5 that I traded off for the IS350. It's not as fast as the M5, but I'm not at the dealer every week fixing things either. Of course, the hard part is figuring out what I'm going to drive every morning.

If the AM button has SAT on it also, then the OEM XM Unit should work, if SAT is missing, then it probably won't. I don't think the 05s had a SAT option though.

The wire powering the compass/rear view mirror is another good power source without having to tear anything apart. I wired my v1 there and it works with the key the same as the compass in the mirror.

It's not so much rolling resistance as it is the weight of the tires. On my old Z71 Tahoe, I lost near 5mpg going from Goodyear Wrangler A/T to the SA tire. There was a significant difference in weight which attributed to the loss in MPG and loss in accelleration. No doubt they are good...
