You need a press to get it out.
If you're doing this in your driveway I'd just get a complete lower arm with new a new ball joint and bushings, you'll be ahead in the long run and it's 100x's easier.
Check your calipers to see if one is sticking.
With engine on have someone turn you steering wheel back and forth while you check lower ball joints and control arm bushings and tie rod ends for any excessive play, you should see near zero movement.
My guess is a bad ball joint or lower control...
You'll probably need wheel spacers to avoid rubbing. I'm running 3" suspension 1 1/2" body lift and wheel spacers to clear 295's
These are 305's with additional slight fender trimming to avoid rubbing.
Mine was doing the same thing, took the plastic cover off, sprayed it down with brake clean, let dry and sprayed it with silicone, that was 5 months ago, works perfect.
