haven't installed it yet. will report back. sounds pretty easy - mount the box near a headlight, plug into a headlight lead and has a pos lead to the battery.

there is no right/wrong version, they have different features. i bought the anytime version w the switch. all i need is the basic version, which allows fogs to be on with high beams.

You will need new lug nuts. Any aftermarket wheels will require conical seat lug nuts. Only the oem trd wheels use the oem flat / washer style lugcentric nut.

as a datapoint AGAINST doing the spring swap, i did them about 10k miles ago. truck rides very poorly. ride is busy, bumpy, skittish. i did 5100's and pulled all the xreas stuff at that time. it's underdamped/ oversprung, especially on the front end. also worth saying i'm a bit of a suspension...
