This is an unusual question but what year did the aluminum stereo wiring come out?

I sold that 4runner like 4 years ago but yeah its still fine. I sold it to a friend so I would of known if there was a problem. Theres an oring on the pipe to seal it. The crimp is only to hold it in place since theres 15 psi of pressure in the coolant system.

I’m having the same issue and its weird cause it doesn’t always happen. Seems to happen mostly when its hot out.

No idea. Mine were gone when I bought my 5th gen. They fit good surprisingly.

I used them. Got them on ebay. I’m happy for 40 bucks.

It looks fine. I even printed the wire schematics to make sure the speaker wires matched.

I installed a radio in my 2010 4runner using an aftermarket harness. Everything works and the front speakers play but the rear door and hatch speakers don’t play. Pressing party mode and depressing it does nothing. They all played with the original radio. I don’t have the jbl system.

Not possible to do a comparison cause. I replaced them on my lunch hour but mine were so deteriorated that it had no molding inside and out. It was just the plastic piece clipped in. But the ebay ones fit fine. I’m happy. The profile is a little thicker but for the price I can’t complain.

Yeah for the whole set. Let me look for a link. I already ordered them. I’ll check them out for 40. I mean they can’t be worse than whats on there now disintegrating.
