My motor is getting tired and I don't want to rebuild it if necessary. Would a newer motor work? I'm thinking of a 2RZ or a 3RZ. Would either one of these bolt in with the stock trany? I'm looking at getting a new longblock from LCE. Any thoughts?

Thanks for your information. I do believe that I will stick with the IFS since I only want to be able to put 35s on her. I have looked into the parts and I don't want to go too extreme yet. Maybe on my next project.

I would need to build up the front IFS and am seriously thinking about SAS. I just can't make up my mind about IFS or SAS. What is the general opinion about either?

I was talking about the new FJ Cruisers. How high can I go with IFS? I would like to be able to put 35" tires on.

I would take a look at your vacuum lines into the throttle body. Make sure that they don't have any cracks in them. Best option is to just replace them as they could deteriorate after 10+ years of use. Mine did a variable idle speed before I replaced mine and when I did, she idles at 900 steady. ;)

31" Spare I have a smitty built dual tube rear bumper with the hitch option and I have a 31" spare tire hidden there. I can fit up to a 33" in this area. Unfortunately I can't fit 35s though.
