As long as they blend the adjacent panels the color match should be fine. Talk to any painter out there and it doesnt matter what color it is if it has metallics or pearls,its gonna be hard to match. I do bodywork and for every paintcode theres different formulas and shades for the same color...
I have mine adjusted all the way out to where it looks as if its just out more than the tires. I get about half my foot on it also. If I adjusted it all the way in I'd be kicking my sideskirts everytime.
Those are aftermarket running boards? They look just like my factory ones and I installed mine without trimming anything. The factory running boards have plenty of adjustments left,right and you can also adjust all the way out to have a large area to step into the vehicle.
