BFG All-Terrain T/A KO2 went on sale today

No rub, no scrub whatsoever. Overall I am happy with them. They have been good in snow and performed well when I went to a mudded up rut hole of a mess OHV in Illinois last summer. They will get tested on some rocks in August when I go to Ouray for a couple days! Maybe the only drawback is...

New 4runner owner with a (probably) simple lift question

2/1 Lift I went with Fox 2.0 which come set at 2" for the front and then got some cornfed spacers for the rear to go with the 0-1" lift shock option. I have about 7k on the setup and like the ride. They are more than the billies but are able to be rebuilt. As for ride quality the fox shocks...

    Slimline Subwoofer

Here ya go. http://www.toyota-4runner.org/5th-gen-t4rs/92013-antmans-thread-24.html#post989173 I took some inspiration from this and had my amp mounted under the driver seat and it fits just fine. The shop I had do it connected into the door speaker wires near the kick plate and didn't go...

Does your 5th gen. take 20 minutes to warm up?

This is a topic that I have much interest in. Not so much for when I feel warm but for when the engine gets warm. Before my 5th gen I had a 2001 sr5 t4r and yes it would warm up to operating temp quicker. I never put a stopwatch to it but it was an obvious difference. Also to note in my...

    Fox, Bilstein or Boss?

The fox setup you are referring to is what I went with. I have approx 2k on the setup and have no complaints. The ride quality is just what I was looking for. Other setups may work better but I would have to suggest getting the same brand/type for sake of when it comes time to rebuild them you...

4 Runner garage mates! lets see em and talk about them.

Snapped of pic of these two after I got them both washed up yesterday. In Iowa you have to take advantage of any day in January above 40 to hand wash at home! My 14 TEP and my wife's 14 Accord EX.

TA KO 2s out in Feb?

Glad I ordered mine 11/1/14 and got them right away. Also to answer OP, no you do not need spacers to run 275's on stock TE wheels.

Sub Enclosure for 2014 with 3rd Row

Yes. Leave the sides, top and bottom flush with the back of the seat and recess the panel with the speaker. This is just a thought btw only the tape measure and calculator will determine if it will work.

Sub Enclosure for 2014 with 3rd Row

The pic with the tailgate closed helps a lot. It looks like there is enough room in there to fit a wedge shape box in there. As for suggestions on box construction see if you can recess the panel that the sub is mounted on by at least the amount of deflection produced by the sub when on i.e...

Sub Enclosure for 2014 with 3rd Row

That is how I normally build sub enclosures (pic included to show my design). I do this mainly to protect the speaker. I have a 15 JLw0 that was in my 3rd gen that I have not yet put into my 5th gen that is built this way. But after looking at the amount of space that is left with the 3rd row...
