Depends on what series of land cruiser, not too many 200 series are modified mainly because not too many people can afford to modify a 50 - 100 thousand dollar vehicle. The older land cruisers are modified extensively, check out IH8MUD Forum There are a few modified sequoias but there isn't...

I've posted about this in another thread. That is bad, that frame is unsafe and needs to be fixed, however that is not nearly as bad as the tacoma frames, toyota will not recall the 4runner frames

check your control arm bushings, specifically the lower rear control arms, but it'd be a good idea to check all your bushings for wear/play.

they do NOT have the same rust problems. You will occasionally see a 4Runner that was neglected with a rusted away frame. You would routinely see well maintained tacomas with fist sized holes in the frame (or when the the turck was lifted, the frame broke in 2) Very few 96 - 04 Tacomas...

I just bought a 2002 tacoma that had it's frame replaced in 2012 You will not be seeing these recalls on the 4runners, 4runners have an entirely different frame (material, design and manufacturer are all different)

Ok sorry, I should have only spoken for myself. I have front, side and rear view cameras on my Land Cruiser. I only use my cameras to gauge distance from objects, I still use my side view mirrors and my back window (when I can see out of it) to do guide my actual movement. I only spoke up...

I'll just say that no matter how good your backup camera is and how well positioned it is, you should NOT be staring at your camera while backing up. Use the camera like an additional mirror that provides another vantage point, and with that attitude it wont' really matter if it is off...
