iPod, XM and Sirius - Possible?

Brian, I'm not currently using my iPod. I sent the vias back. The Solara XM kit plugs directly into the rear of the Nav and doesn't require any other adapters

iPod, XM and Sirius - Possible?

Brian, I'm currently running XM through my Nav by using the Toyota XM kit for a Solaris. I tried the Vias but I guess I'm the unlucky one. The first one they sent would only play sound out of one side so I sent it back. They returned it a few weeks later and said that there was a bad solder...

iPod, XM and Sirius - Possible?

I have a 2005 Limited with Nav and I purchased the Toyota XM kit for Solara and installed it into my Nav. The XM kit works perfectly. The AM button functions just as it would on the Navs with AM-SAT. I also am installing the VAIS AIC 100i iPod interface to my Nav that will enable me to use...

    2005 Factory Nav w/XM integrated.

dgobe, I routed mine along the passenger side of the vehicle. The plastic thresholds of the doorways pops off easily and there is a channel there for wiring. I then went up behind the glove box. I didn't disconnect the battery. Probably should have, but had no problems not doing so.

If I'm reading your question right, yes, I could have spliced the RSA wires into the existing harness. The Y adapter option to me just seemed a little less permanent. Didn't want to give the dealer a reason to void my warranty.

That's the way it works with the NAV. I don't have any experiance with a non NAV radio, but if I had to guess it would be simular.
