    Best darn DEGREASER ever!

I've used the others mentioned here and I'd like to suggest LA's Totally Awesome from the dollar store. It's cheap and works well. I use the full strength stuff. I don't think it's toxic and it cuts grease fairly well. I use almost exclusively this and simple green

    Portland oregon

Another case of 'not mine but it's a good deal' on some free bumper parts and more importantly, FREE FOG LAMPS https://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/zip/d/toyota-4runner-runner-bumper/6482322035.html I thought about picking them up myself but I have no idea how I'd mount them with my AOR Bumper...

    Mysterious water leak?.?

I'm surprised no one has mentioned intake manifold gaskets :o I had a mysterious coolant smell/loss for years and when I took off the intake manifold, there was a GIANT puddle of coolant sitting between the manifold and the engine block. Manifold gaskets were in pieces...

Advice and seeing how this is looking to everyone else

If you are replacing the intake manifold gaskets (lower one), I'd recommend running a light skim of fipg or grey permatex around the water ports on both sides of the gaskets. These gaskets are a pain in the butt to replace so it's worth it to take precautions so you don't have to do it again...

Advice and seeing how this is looking to everyone else

Everything under the valve covers looks good. The oil in the intake isn't the end of the world, but you might consider replacing the PCV valve and cleaning the throttle body/intake while you have it off.

    Tweeter install

I bent the factory metal bracket so the JBL tweeters would fit. Never thought to use hot glue to mount them :sadwave:

What Did You Do To Your 3rd Gen Today?

With a quieter exhaust, I noticed people will more frequently mosey out in front of you in parking lots. I lost mad parking lot respect. In all seriousness, replace that fart can; It's worth it

What Did You Do To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Walker 18901 off Amazon Prime, ~$91 shipped https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0049J6WP0/ref=psdc_15713921_t2_B0049J91H6 It's really nice having a quiet cabin again. It makes for more comfortable highway trips. If I could just quiet down those darned poly sway bar bushings, then it might actually sound...

    TonyB66's Ownership -> Build Thread (2000 Limited)

The Walker muffler I recently installed was the cheaper, aluminized walker muffler (Walker 18901). Although, I'm sure the stainless steel version will sound the same

What Did You Do To Your 3rd Gen Today?

I replaced my flowmaster muffler with a walker bolt-on. What a night and day difference! It feels like I'm driving a luxury suv again :thumb3:

What Did You Do To Your 3rd Gen Today?

I'd hate to piss in your cornflakes, but there's no way those 3 bolts will hold up to heavy winching. The bolts aren't the major problem, it's where they're located and what they're connected to. That end plate is tack welded onto the frame. If you want to add strength, have it tie into the...

Sunroof rehab / parts replacement advice needed

In my 3+ years of ownership, it has never worked and I haven't bothered to fix it. I found my sunroof to be more trouble than it's worth. Mine was leaking water so I RTV'd the window shut and haven't looked back. If I really wanted to reverse it, I could cut away the RTV in a matter of minutes...

    Fuel injector o rings?

I used these o-rings from O'reilly and they worked fine. They felt a little loose compared to the originals but they don't leak. Maybe you got a faulty set?

Going CRAZY here - WHERE is the turn signal flasher?

I don't know about all that. I replaced mine and it only took a couple minutes. Turn on blinker to feel which one is vibrating, take it out, and replace it. Simple as that.

    plasti-dip interior

In my opinion, that's pretty ugly. That being said, if you want the paint to last, I'd suggest duplicolor fabric and vinyl paint. I painted my fake wood trim pieces black and they still look great 2 years later. You can't even tell they're painted. That being said, I don't know if I'd use the...
