I'm not sure about the current status of tint laws, but I generally recommend going for at least 70% tint for UV protection, though 50% is ideal. For privacy, 15% or limo tint in the back and 30% or 20% in the front works well. In California, most people opt for 30%, but 20% is quite bold...
