SOLD: 2016 4Runner Trail Premium with OME BP-51s

I'm selling my 4Runner to change up my setup. I've used this primarily as a commuting / getting around vehicle, but have also taken it on many road trips and several offroad camping excursions. All systems work perfectly. There are small paint imperfections and scratches in a spot or two...

Goose Gear Plate System Install - with cargo slide removal

Oh nice! Looks like you could actually have a piece slide out from beneath to act as a table surface too. Thanks for sharing

Goose Gear Plate System Install - with cargo slide removal

On a further search, I found this thread that has a bit more info and validates the bolt holes being covered by sheetmetal... http://www.toyota-4runner.org/5th-gen-t4rs/224971-cargo-area-flat-plate-mod-bolt-holes.html Hope that helps someone tie the 2 threads together.

Goose Gear Plate System Install - with cargo slide removal

Anyone make their own? Digging this up and wondering if anyone went through the process of making their own? Doesn't look hard but would require some trial and error. Also I understand that not all of the bolt holes are exposed (ie some are hidden under sheet metal) if your truck didn't come...

TRD Wheels or Stick with OEM?

Hmm, I actually have a trail and TRD rim at home with no tires or valvestems on them. I'll put them on a scale and see what the weight difference is this weekend.

    Wow! Expedition Overland

As goofy as the production is sometimes, I enjoy the 4WD Action videos on YouTube. Tons of winching, far out locations, random recipe advice, the occasional broken axle or diff they need to repair.

TRD Wheels or Stick with OEM?

Oddly that 4mm made a weird difference for me. By swapping to the TRD wheels with stock size Wildpeaks, I get a tiny amount of rub at full lock in reverse.

    2WD versus 4WD... Help Me:

Agree with those that say there are definitely better vehicles out there if you are going to go 2WD.

The fact the hatch interferes with these types of awnings is such a bummer. I'd love to see someone design a system that works in combination. I know people have raised the mounting of the awning higher on the rack to clear, but there are some downsides to that for sure.

Interesting - KDSS is the same license tech used by Mclaren supercars

That is cool. Also good to know I might be able to take my 4runner to a Mclaren dealer for service! I'm sure it's a bargain.

    New Falken AT tire (A/T3W)

Yeah, you're probably fine with the P rated versions then! I imagine I'd go back to P rated if I drove it more around town. Oh, I forgot this earlier: I guess one other thing is that the E rated version has a deeper tread depth. Can't remember the details on exactly how big a difference but...
