wtb 3g fender trim/turn signals (CT)

anyone have the stock fender trim laying around after an upgrade to flares? also, driving with no bumper on (just needed a burger!) i zip-tied my turn signals to the frame. 10 min later, i'm home with a tasty burger and no turn signals. whoops! anyone have a pair laying around? i'd like the...

    WTB 3rd Gen Fender Trim

So a long time ago I thought I was getting some flares. I threw out my stock SR5 fender trim, and then never got the flares. Anyone who upgraded from the little .75" or so trim to flares got the stock trim and clips left laying around and willing to sell?

    96 4Runner Part out

Would you be willing to pull the rear wiper motor and assembly out of the lift gate for me? I'm tired of having a grimy rear window.

    Jarrett's (slow) po' boy build.

My first order of significant business I believe is to copy what erikb over at pirate4x4 did and weld a crossmember to the front of my frame and mount my winch directly to it. It's no longer going to be my daily driver in just a few weeks, so then I'll be free to mod it however I so please...

    Jarrett's (slow) po' boy build.

So I've had my 4Runner for about two years I think, it's hard to remember exactly. I'm a grad student that's getting married soon, so I don't have terribly large amounts of money to spend, but that should change soon enough. Bought it stock with bald tires and beat up interior. First thing I did...

    SCARY rear end float question

so just an update, four months later :fishing: been busy haha i called the local dealer and found out that my 4runner had never had the recalled rear coils swapped out, so i took it in and got the coils done and it solved everything. apparently i had been loading the rear up too much with gear...

    SCARY rear end float question

Just for clarification, it's a skittering motion, like I'm going too fast on a washboard corner, except it's only one bump and i just kind of flutter my tail end out to the right. I'm going to go check on the panhard bar and the sway links front and rear and will report back later. Thanks for...

    SCARY rear end float question

John, where in CT do you live? You may know the bump lol it's eastbound Rt. 84 in Waterbury right before Brass Mill Commons. The rear end kickout only happens in my 4Runner. It's an ugly bump in other vehicles, but not the same: my Jeep with stiffer suspension takes it just fine, my cargo van...

    SCARY rear end float question

 I have a question about the rear suspension of my 98 4Runner. I'm on stock coils with recently replaced (~5kmi) stock black Tokicos, 1" body lift, and 265/75R16s with good tread. There's a certain bump on the highway in the middle of a lazy 30° leftward corner that makes my rear end...

    New guy from CT

Problem with CT is that all the 4Runners I've seen around here are bone stock, no one seems to like fun. Hoards of Jeeps all over the place, a few nice Tacos, but built T4Rs are few and far between. THAT'S WHY I NEED TO WASTE ALL OF MY MONEY ON MINE!

    New guy from CT

Hey guys, I finally signed up for the forum after reading it for almost a year. Had my 98 SR5 for almost two years now, has a 1'' body lift and deckplate, but that's about it. Money's coming in soon, so I figured I'd wanna show it off and get some advice on where I'm taking her. Already read...
