Im still not convinced there is not a software way of changing the setting also, I just know you can do it directly at the eprom.. There still might be away doing it at the cluster level, or in fact doing it thru a sequence. I cannot find any other way then that. j0.

There is a easier way,.... BUT, your cluster will read KM (odometer)... and will confuse the crap out of Toyota service, since your gauge is in MPH... If you take apart your cluster, the chip is 93C66, which holds Odometer information, as well as regional coding. You have to remove the chip...

If you change the cluster, (From US) to a Canadian Cluster, everything will change to Canadian measurements. from: F to C MPG to L/100 Miles to KM (given) J.

Re: You Can't Get There From Here I beg to differ... To change the setting, it is hard coded into the cluster. (Odd I know) But I have tried. My fathers 4Runner is from US, and the cluster and all the displays are in Imperial.. I have a 4Runner in Canada. For shits and giggles I swapped...

Im not sure if the 2005 is a one piece nav or two piece. If it is two piece it is the same, except the addition of the bluetooth mic. J.
