    I have aftermarket..and my security light does not flash when the key is in the ignition and im driving. When i had mine installed, they required me to bring BOTH of my keys to the install...i assume they use them to program something...i was given both keys back ...so there was not a key...

    when your not used to doing for the past 12 years...its seem to be a 'burden' now to me....lol :) one thing you can do...is ALWAYS leave the headlights on..if you want....since they shut off automatically...you can 'set it and forget it'....i dont chose to do that...but, its an option.
