nice runner I have a 95 after a motor swap and a sas it has turned out to be a great toy

The springs are out from under a 88 runner. They are pro comp 4in lift springs. The rear has the the trailmaster 4.5" lift coils and the front is about 2" higher than the rear.

That would take all the fun out of crawling

I just did a SAS on my runner and now the front is sitting about 3 in higher than the back. I am running the lift coils in the back and like the way it sit prior to the SAS. I need to lower the front now but not really sure where to start. Can someone please help.

No thread on it but I just pulled a 4.5 in lift off of my 95 and did a sas the drop brackets lift SUCK

I just finished up doing the 4.3 swap in my 95.Im running the 4.10 gears and 35s and it does great on and off road. I changed out both the motor and tranny. That was probably the easy way out. around here you can find a good motor complete with computer and wiring harness for around 3-400 bucks...

when I did my lift i had to hold the shaft with a pair of channel locks and used a ratchet wrench to loosen the nut up.I had the tires and wheels off of the runner when mine was done which made it simple had both sides done in about 15 min.

I ended up cutting the lines and putting in high pressure couplings in to get my steering to work with the 4.3 setup.

Thanks for the info.Im going to install an new radio in my 95 monday or tuesday just kept me from spazzing out.

95 with a 4.3 conversion with the ifs sence I already had it its my $1500 toy sitting on 35s with a 4 in lift with no body lift

Befor you start pulling the engine pull the ecu/ecm out and un plug the connectors and run the plugs back threw the firewall by removing the rubber gromet.I just pulled the one out of mine and put a chevy 4.3 in it. When you pull the engine you can pull just the engine by itself. good luck...
