Update on this. I put both spindles in a vise and tried every thing I could but the bolts would not budge.
Took spindles to a machine shop where they drilled them all out for $40. Ez pz.

2001 here - I was about to follow the advice in the first few posts, but I'm wondering if those are specific to 96-00?
I cannot find a definitive method for my '01 without buying or making bleeding tools.
Thanks
Has anyone been able to use a die or thread file to fix the threads on upper ball joints and or outer tie rods?
I bought a die, but I don't think it's the right size. Swore the bolt was 12mm but my calipers tell me it's 13.5mm. I don't expect I will find a die for that size easily. May need to...
I'm getting ready to cut my surely seized cam bolts out as well, so I will follow along with your progress. You could leave a comment on Timmy's YouTube video and someone might reply.
I am really dreading messing with the steering rack. Seen horror stories of bolts shearing off.

'01 sr5 185k lifted on fj springs and bilsteins. Newer ATs. $5200.
Very clean interior, but a significant amount of rust. Makes simple jobs a huge pain in the ass. Hope to have it on the road in a month or so [emoji848][emoji28].
Needed/needs calipers, lower ball joints, lower ca bushings...
Nut destroyed. Spindle removed. I may have bungled the threads on the ball joint, so I have to decide if forcing a new nut on there is worth it. Unless there is a way to repair them.
Now I get to actually begin the real work. Check out the all the sheared off bolts in the spindle!
Edit:

No small impact, but I do have a torch. I put it on the nut for about 40 seconds before trying to turn it, didn't appear to help but not sure if I had enough tension on it.
I tried a few times to jack it up, but it just wants to move outward towards me. I've got no way that I can see to secure...
That's a great idea to reboot it. Really, really don't want to replace it.
I don't have an angle grinder, so hopefully the dremel will work. Although I am way overdue for buying an angle grinder..
I figure I can waste another few hours trying to get it off or just cut it and be done. Assuming...
This nut along with every other nut I've encountered on this truck is "seized" to the upper ball joint. I need some tension on the spindle and or upper control arm, so that I can try to unscrew it the old fashioned way. Problem is that the lower ball joint is out so the spindle is just dangling...
It's shit like this that makes me terrified to fix anything. Everything seems simple enough until you break more shit in the process.
Yes, I'm jaded after one month of ownership [emoji23]. Just thankful it's not my daily driver!
