I just finished painting my TE rims, although with a little different style. I'm hoping that it will hold up well given the exposed edge, not too worried though if it doesn't. Just peel off and repaint. Let me hear what you all think.

It looks like if you go to toyota.com and build a TE that the pictures don't reflect a cargo tray. I believe before I bought mine that the pictures showed the tray, but I could be wrong.
