Here's a good way to spend 500.00 bucks: rear diff breather mod, infinity tweeters in dash, weather tech floor mats, interior LED lighting and maybe some dynamat in the doors... Done.

I'm sorry, I just dont understand how this engine could be short on airflow. The air box on the 4runner is about the same size as the stock one on my 2005 GTO and that's a 6.0L V-8 that makes 400hp. I find it hard to believe that any sort of "cold air, low restriction intake" could improve...

I usually just use the pressure washer at the car wash, the days of getting water in the distributer are long gone. I would just make sure you drive it afterwards to dry everything out properly before you park it.
