The wheel alignment shop should have the equipment to very the frame. Not sure why they couldn't confirm the frame dimensions. They should have also verified you rear wheel base if they think it's possibly a bent axle housing. Most body shops that do paint and body work can do this for you...

Where is the drip coming from? The front differential or the transfer case? Definitely tough as nails. If leak is coming from the differential it's going to drip from the CV axle on one side or the other. The transfer case would leak at the drive shaft seals most likely.

Maybe some sort of spray or roll on rhino liner type product. That would be a huge improvement over that ugly plastic. Probably cleans up nice too.
