New to to 3rd gens. Introduction and a question

Hello. I've been a first gen runner owner for a long time, but I sold it. Decided to pick up a relatively clean 3rd gen as a project after having wanted one for a while. This is how I bought it. It has a weak little toytec lift (I HATE toytec, long story), rear locker, 5 speed, 192k. Not a huge...

    Lift kits

Suspensions parts that are made to be inexpensive are just that; cheap. Arguably one of the most important parts of a vehicle means you want to invest wisely. Do your research and spend extra on something known for quality. RC has a reputation for being garbage for a reason.

    1992 4Runner for sale....

$800 is an ok deal. I'd put a new engine in all together. If its a 22RE they don't like to bounce back from overheating (assuming thats why the HG is smoked). And if its the 3.0, the HG just plain sucks to do. Has a book time of 18 hours. If I bought it, I'd offer him $500. Put in a used...

    Worst stuck stories and pictures

Downhill on this trail was easy and it didn't seem deep, but then we hit a dead end and has to climb back.....uphill....thats when the madness began. Lifted on 35's and I was still opening my doors only to hit snow. Unfortunately this is the only pic taken as the winches were pulling me out.

    87 4 Runner Build

Wow love the dedication and attention to detail. And that battery box....fits like a glove! Build me one? I joined the site so i could comment on your truck. If you saw my 85 you'd gringe at the rock damage to the body. I'll be keeping my eye on this thread, can't wait to see the SAS.
